Surely, the name was a bit of giveaway, especially as BA operated the Trident? (OK, the Trident 3B did have four engines).

Kevin , Perhaps it's the word accounts ...
Our son was/is pretty good at maths /arithmetic ...but his English comprehension was pretty awful . Only ever met one person who worked in accounts ..and she left to go cabin crew pretty quickly . Thus have no knowledge of their corporate mind set .
The rumour as I say was very very strong ..
