Helloooooo!
The box is back with an Aorus motherboard, W10, but hardly any of my main programmes working yet.
No FSX or web software etc etc. Thankfully Firefox and the link to CBFS is fully functional :excited:

Ha!
Website and FSX Acceleration performing well, all my old aircraft back in the hangar, still have to check the add on scenery.
Tried unlimited and got 100-170FPS, and sound is good. It's great to feel the air under my wings again :agree:
Once again, Wordle is not happening on the computer, still OK on the mobile though :dunno:

Hi Ben,
The FPS quoted was at Friday Harbour btw.
I'm surprised to see that the specs are as low as they are, but the tech bloke said things run a lot faster than the old gear.
I now have an AORUS Elite B560M gaming motherboard (should be faster than the 12 y.o. Gigabyte)
i3-10105F CPU @ 3.7GHz (which is the same rate as my old computer)
16Gb DDR4 RAM (I had 18Gb DDR3, but it was faulty)
NVIDIA GTX 1060 3Gb (transferred from the old computer)
I now have all my ORBX scenery properly installed, and in that heavily built up area and detailed airport, FPS was stuck around 20.

The computer is no longer crashing to black, or BSOD, which it was doing just coming to CBFS. Obviously it was a wreck.

Thats good news Mike. A lot of updates in there should keep you going for a while. And you should be able to upgrade the CPU at some point too. Plenty of options 👍
