Olivia Newton-John R.I.P.

Post by nigelb »

Another sad bit of news. Olivia passed away today. I had a huge crush on her in the seventies when she had numerous hits and starred in the musical "Grease." She battled cancer for much of her life and was involved with many charities and humanitarian causes. Rest in Peace, Olivia!

Yes another very sad loss. She was the beautiful girl next door type(if only!) I was listening to some of her songs very recently along with some from Lyndsey de Paul who also died too young. Something about lovely blonde girls which I’ve always found attractive including the late Jill Dando, and that also applies to the girl I married over 50 years ago who fortunately is still with me.EricT :agree:
Now at the age where I know I like girls but can't remember why!

Such a beautiful lady with an equally beautiful singing voice, I would certainly match her singing with that of Barbara Streisand.

Rest in Peace Olivia.

Regards
Nigel.
