---------- UPDATE ---------

Having shown no sign of improvement, Mike has been taken to the local hospital where he is being well cared for. More news as and when I get it.

Just to keep you fully up to date - Mike has pneumonia affecting both lungs and, unsurprisingly, is having breathing difficulties. He's in an infectious diseases ward and is not allowed visitors which must be very difficult for Margaret. He can only speak with difficulty but has managed to eat a small amount of food today.

I have indeed been doing that, Pete and I've also sent her the link to this thread in the hope she can take some small comfort from the good wishes for Mike's recovery and the obvious high regard in which he's held by the forum members.

Only just come on-line and am really sad to hear that Mike is unwell.

Mike, if you are able to read this, I really hope that you soon begin to feel better soon, my thoughts are with you and Margaret.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards
Nigel.
