Not the news I was expecting but I hope Mike is able to fight it off and make a recovery. He's been a stalwart around here for as long as I've been a member and we need him back ASAP. Keep on fighting Mike!

In my earlier post I meant to say thank you to Pete for keeping us updated on Mike’s condition. I’m sure we all hope that your next update will bring better news. :agree: EricT

Prayers for you both Margaret and Mike at this anxious time. Thanks also to Pete and Margaret for keeping us updated.

Here's hoping for Mike to improve over the coming days.

Hello All.
Touched by your good wishes which I've just read. 17.45hrs 8th Nov.
It has been a rough ride.

When they ask if you want your file noted "Do not resuscitate"
Followed by "ok if you change your mind we can amend it"
It makes you realise that there are some questions more important than others :agree:

The good news is that they seem to have the pneumonia on the run. I am off pumped oxygen and can think much better now I'm not sweating litres.

If I keep improving overnight, they may be able to send me home with tablets tomorrow afternoon.

Here's hoping :worried:
