Wow Mike, that sounds like good news. If you do go home tomorrow (which I hope that you do), don't try and do too much too soon. I don't know if it will mean much to you, but I was brought up a Catholic (although, not the best Catholic in the world - girls got in the way of that!) and have said a prayer for you each day.Airspeed wrote: ↑08 Nov 2022, 06:58Hello All.
Touched by your good wishes which I've just read. 17.45hrs 8th Nov.
It has been a rough ride.
When they ask if you want your file noted "Do not resuscitate"
Followed by "ok if you change your mind we can amend it"
It makes you realise that there are some questions more important than others
The good news is that they seem to have the pneumonia on the run. I am off pumped oxygen and can think much better now I'm not sweating litres.
If I keep improving overnight, they may be able to send me home with tablets tomorrow afternoon.
Here's hoping
Hoping that you continue to make good progress in your recovery.

Great news Mike! Very glad yo see your post. Prayers snd wishes have been answered in a great way.
As Kevin said, take your time, it can take months to get back on your feet properly after pneumonia. Keep up the good work.

Great news Mike! So pleased to hear you're on the mend.
Take it slow and easy.

Well done Mike - and Margaret and the medical staff.
Take it easy with the recovery. It might be a good idea to borrow a nurse or two to be on the safe side, although that may not be on the safe side of Margaret.....
Tell her a big boy suggested it and ran away.
cheers,
Allan

Certainly focuses your attention...I had same when the hospital discovered I had bi-lateral pulmonary embolisms after having covid " if these burst you have a 50% chance of survival...what do you want us to do if that happens"Airspeed wrote: ↑08 Nov 2022, 06:58Hello All.

and that was before they discovered the clots in my noggin .....
Just take it one day at a time...if you try and rush back into things your body will kick your arse again..no doing Mrs Airspeeds odd-jobs..
Best wishes
