Wedding Anniversary Card

Post by Nigel H-J »

Got to our 43rd wedding anniversary today and received a card from my step-son who has a terrific sense of humour and it goes like this!!

Picture of male cooking food on front of card.

"Eventually Nigel accepted that if at first you don't succeed, try doing it how Barbara told you to in the first place"!! :$

Yes, I have had those spontaneous moments where I have jumped in thinking the job to be straight forward regardless of what Babs told me!! :hide:

Nigel.
I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.

Congrats on the 43 years!

We celebrate our 30th early next month and as I said to an older (male) assistant at one of the local big box stores last week "If I 'd murdered her instead of marrying her I'd be a free man by now!" :'(

Happy anniversary Nigel! 43 years is quite the stint and I think we've pretty much all been there - there's the wife's way and there's the what are you doing it like that for way.

Hope you have a great day.
