A great comedian as Dame Edna Everidge and Sir Les Patterson. Dame Edna,her of the acidic wit and master/mistress of the back handed compliment and deflator of pomposity and Sir Les who I think was the Australian cultural attache.

Very sad news, he was an incredibly funny man, and seemed genuinely kind.
