Amazed!

Post by adysmith »

Not sure if I'm in the right section.

I use Navigraph charts while flying (sim and Real World).
When I had the app installed and running on my old PC it would show the location of the aircraft if I was within the bounds of the current chart.

With my new PC I just can't get Charts to run, something in a firewall stopping it - didn't know I had a firewall running!

Anyway, I've got the app on my ipad, so I brought up the charts I wanted on that.

Completely amazed that it still showed the position of my aircraft with no connection between ipad and PC other than they are sharing a router, and both logged in to my Navigraph account.

Well impressed :agree:

Cool!!!!

Are Navigraph charts and app free??

What makes it more cooler is that I can see on your signature poster the progress of your flight from EGLL to EGNS using VISC carrying 56 passengers!

No, but they are not expensive considering you get world wide Jeppesen coverage, about $82 a year, not sure of exact figure
