Re: R1155 receiver
Hi.
The antenna switch bmp`s are done and the gauge has basic annimations of switch , FSX/P3D has nothing to simulate Antenna`s being selected , so this switch gauge will effectivly introduce failures of system`s not selected , the ADF two drunken men gauge has given me headaches i have now got it so it directs you to an NDB if you are left or right or heading too it , but as yet cannot get the correct indication after you pass over NDB waypoint before tuning next ADF station , bmp`s are done with night lighting , not yet started ADF loop antenna which when finished should work with two drunken men and r1155 hopefully . the gauge two drunken men is the nick name for the ADF visual gauge type 1 , i have some photos on my iphone but not sure how i can post them here to give better idea of work done sofar.
regards Alan.

Re: R1155 receiver
Hi.
The Loop Antenna & Control switch bmp`s done and gauge has basic Animations Antenna rotates L & R and switch moves L & R at same time , just need to decide how to indicate the Heading once max signal detected , with Antenna , i have 3 options on how i am thinking of doing this:-
1/ alter ADF Loop bmp so it as a pointer that lines up on compass rose
2/ a seperate animated needle that rotates with ADF Loop Antenna
3/ a readout either L or R of switch that states heading like i have done with the frequencies on the R1155
once i have this sorted i have the fun & games of getting the gauges to interact with each other to provide the other controls in the R1155 with actual functions instead of dummy animations as they are at present.
regards Alan.

Hi Allan, Dont know if my borrowed R1155 .xml by Ted Cook is of any use, you can find it in my Percival Q6D model panel folder at Simouthouse the loop antenna is also there. Regards Keith

Re: R1155 receiver
Hi
I have been trying to get some of the other R1155 switches and knobs working with the other 3 gauges ,sofar not succeding , well not fully the way they should , Dev One i down looaded the aircraft that i think you mentioned but could not see the files you mentioned , but there was several different ones on web site , so a good chance i picked the wrong one , project is on temporay hold , as my cataract op on both eyes was not fully successful i am one of a percentage that needs further laser surgery on both eyes , to stop blurred vision happening , so my first laser op is tooday , apparently recovery is in most cases within about 24 hrs but might need eye drops for a while after op .
regards Alan

Re: R1155 receiver
Hi Alan, Sorry that you have to have a bit of laser surgery. had my right eye done in Nov '18 when i lived in France but had to be fully anaesthetised because of my Parkinson's!
I am looking through my files and have started to extract the R1155 stuff, as I can see that its not easy to see what it is, but the job is more difficult because I had disc fail a couple of years ago. Would you like me to send you a copy when I've completed it?
Regards
Keith

Hi Keith.
That would be very kind of you , thanks.
what is your private message under so i could send you my email address.
If you are having issues with your disc , then if you give link to exact model of aircraft you mention then i could see about downloading the correct model as there was a few variants of it when i looked.
regards Alan Cottrill.

Re: R1155 receiver
Alan,
I've downloaded from Sim Outhouse my 'percival_q6_p16d.zip' and 'percival_proctors_iv_v_.zip' (If you just search for the Percival Q6 it must be the retractable undercart version - there are other sites that you can d/l from. If you d/l & extract them, open the 'panel' folder then the 'WQ6d.cab' from the Q6 & from the ProctorIV.cab panel P4, you should find .xml & .bmp files for ADF, VHF, DFLoop, magic eye, R1155 & TR1143.
My memory for using them is bad but I am sure they worked when I published them. Good luck. PM me for your email, Regards

Re: R1155 receiver
Hi Keith.
I found and download the files you mentioned , a small portion of xml formulars may or may not help wont know till i try them , but what i am attempting to do is a bit ambitious , may be to ambitious , i dont know if i will succede or not and at this time , and as yet i have not found the way to get the balance and amplitude and deflect high/low needle speed to work correctly with the two drunken men visual gauge .
until you mentioned you had done this gauge for your percival , i had no idea anyone had even attempted this receiver setup .
The work on these gauges as sofar taken on and off about 4 months or so and still nowhere near completion .
regards Alan.
