London to Santiago by 1-11

Post by paul26may »

Hello everybody.

I was reading earlier of a British Eagle 1-11 that ended up in Santiago so decided to recreate the flight. So, currently I'm en route to Casablanca (Dan Air 500 actually) and was thinking from there to somewhere in the north eastern region of South America. Any suggestions?

Actually that might be too far. Cape Verde maybe instead?

Although I have not read details of delivery of BAC 1-11 from England to Santiago, I would guess that British Eagle would use same method as BAC factory used for delivery of new BAC 1-11s to America as seen on this link to my report:

In my detailed report, I would guess that British Eagle would go from Newark to Miami to Caribbean to Central America to northern areas of South America to center of South America to Santiago.

Regards,

Aharon
