Hi chaps,

I tried to get in touch with him last March when I noticed he hadn’t logged in for a few weeks, but unfortunately I’ve had no response to any of the emails. I also tried to find contact information for his son, but to no avail.

One thought has come to mind, Peter used to frequent other forums but I have no idea which ones, if any-one knows then it might be possible they have some information of him?

Just a thought.

Regards
Nigel.

I was friends with Peter on Facebook but seams not to be so right now. I did find is profile though

https://www.facebook.com/peter.mcleland

There is a post 15 December 2022, he had been posting at least once a month before that but not after that.

Thanks Joe, I don’t have facebook, so wouldn’t have seen that. I wonder if he has had to go into care.

For what its worth I saw a post on Facebook from Peter dated yesterday, with ppl wishing him a 90th birthday. Glad to see he is still with us, although maybe not with us on this Forum.

Just found this thread as I was wondering if anyone else had any update from him / about him. I last chatted to him on Facebook messenger two years ago and he told me he had been diagnosed with Alzheimers and was struggling with recent memories and people's names. I haven't seen him post or like anything actively on FB since 2022, although as others have pointed out, family members seem to still wish him a happy birthday. It could be he's just not using the PC much if at all any more.

Yeah I have been wondering where or what happened regarding Peter considering the fact I have not seen his flight sim videos or screenshots for long time but I am afraid to ask as I do not want to offend anyone by asking what happens to Peter.

Regards,
