Perhaps the teams could ask one of the beta testers to write a review - who better than someone who knows the aircraft before it is released?

Simplistic answer I know, but the answer is,they weren't built in the USA.

I would normally agree mate but his non-American release, the Mirage, also went gold at Allnodes. I get the feeling that if he released a gold-plated flying toilet seat, it would receive the same hype!!

Not bitter in any way as it is a nice model but like for like.. it's certainly no better than the Hunter T's. I doubt Rick's 748 will get a lookin as few will be able to start it!!

Trev did offer to announce the Hunter release on Avsim, but as the initial release was here, I didn't want to kill our server
The F86 has a much wider appeal than the Hunter, dispite being an inferior looking aircraft

I contacted Trev (tried to)

But never got a reply

748 didn't even appear on the new files list then it eventually turned up
and was on the list for 4 hours.

It also was put in the wrong section even after i e mailed the webmaster
and gave instructions it was still wrong (still is).

It cost me 5000 e mails asking why the aircraft would not load.

Not using Avsim for release anymore as it was a major CU.

FS.com is not such i nice upload interface but at least Nels Anderson can follow instructions.

Regards
Rick

Total downloads of new Sabre (Avsim & Nonodes) = 5257
Total downloads of Hunter T7 (Avsim & Nonodes) = 6062

Hmm

AndyG

(BTW, total downloads of 'unsuccessful' Argosy at the two sites currently stands at 14877).
