Armstrong Whitworth Seahawk
Anyone know of an AW Seahawk model out there? Ever since I had an old Airfix kit of one, I've kind of partial to it.
Cheers all,
Steve

Nothing even half decent, at present. Hopefully I can change that, if I can ever get to grips with GMAX; the project is about 10% done at present, but has been for ages!!!nazca_steve wrote:Anyone know of an AW Seahawk model out there? Don't hold your breath guys. My Gmax skills are pretty non-existent, and real-life keeps getting in the way; much of my free time at the moment is spent putting together a website for my new employer!
I have plenty of reference material (thanks Brian) and the project will go ahead; I suspect that the more experienced modellers on this forum may be getting a PM or two from me The ultimate plan is to build the entire family, from the P1040 prototype right through to the P1081, with as many variations as I can manage; but, bearing in mind that I have yet to produce a basic shape that I am happy with, it could be a little while yet.

Hello gents,
I just pulled down a Sea Hawk off Simviation this morning but have not had a chance to inspect her yet. But I think that once I get in touch with the creator, I'll have a shot at knocking some repaints out. On that note, British Tourer, you said if anyone needed help with research etc., if you (or anyone else) could furnish some pics of Sea Hawks that would be great. I'm going to have a scan of Airliners.net now and see what I can turn up aside from the classic Airfix kit with the ace of spades, along with generally genning up on the old girl.
Anyone can email me at: [email protected] if they have material they'd like to share. Cheers all, and I'll keep you posted,
Steve

BT..
The correct link to that first airliners shot is http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1009815/L/
The second will be http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0982416/L/
There really isn't any need to take the link straight from the address window of your browser as Airliners are kind enough to give the correct link directly above each shot.
