DH89 services inaugurated

Post by RAF_Quantum »

Hi Guys

Well, the DH89 Rapide services were inaugurated tonight. G-ALXT departed Jersey for a quick hop to Guernsey. At the controls, making his debut flight for the VA was none other than Dave Booker.

Rgds

John

p.s. Oh, and I forgot to mention : block fuel 13kgs!

Boy.. my system doesn't like reducing and going back again so plenty of panic. In the end, I flew the route anyway (just in case) and heard ding-dongs when I parked up!! Back to Jersey now me thinks.. (so much for an early night)

Have to do some Alderney now Dave

Don't forget the crosswind runways (grass) a bit tight in the 748, no probs in your Rapide.

I'll see what I can do Garry. Back in Jersey for the night now!! :drinkers:

Block fuel John. Saw that but don't know what it is (although it would not appear to be good) I fuelled up with the intention of it getting me back with the minimum of buying at Guernsey ($5!!). I take it the best thing to do is make it as narrow to YKW as poss and fork out for each trip with each flight??

Oh, and Garry.. I'll try to make sure you get the newspapers at some point tomorrow

Double oh.. John. Catering seems a little steep considering I have no trolley dollies though I suppose $5 for a bap isn't too bad!!
