Hi Joe,
I have increased the sim rate to 8x on the longer VC10 and SVC10 flights. The rest of the flights will remain at 4x as per the other Classic Fleet aircraft. Perhaps whilst you are cruising at 8x you can experiment with long range cruise power settings for the '10's in order to reduce fuel consumption and give us some 'rule of thumb' power settings.

For what it is worth:
If you try to reach cruising altitude in the late 300's, early 400's, and keep MACH around .83 you will normally go around 83-86%..(a knowledged (if thats the term) forum member told me once ;-) And it really seems to work ..
I'm afraid you won't get much lower, unless you ride a good tailwind ;-)
