Airport frequencies

Post by johnhinson »

Greetings,

I'm helping a friend with some AFCADs for some airport sceneries he is working on for the 1970s era. Its not for me to announce the locations before he is ready, but I wondered if anybody can help with tower/ground frequencies etc for now-closed airports? Presumably in the past such things were published but I can't find much on the web.

If anybody has such information for the UK and Europe I would dearly like to communciate off-group for details of specific locations.

I think many will appreciate the results once the work is finished and published, but please forgive the "hush-hush" stuff for now.

Thanks in advance.

John

I still have some plates and also area charts from ( I think) the late 70s or early 80s, largely for the UK and possibly some of France, benelux, germany.E mail me on [email protected] for what you want

In addition to what Chris has, I have a set of Aerad Aerodrome Charts for the UK dated 1973. PM me if they're of interest.

Thanks for all the replies - both private and public.

Rather than get deep into lengthy correspondence with everybody individually, I'll let slip that the current focus of attention is on Cyprus although other locations will, I'm sure, come later (including the UK).

If anyone has data on frequencies in Cyprus feel welcome to "pm" me for more info on what I need.
