Just a heads up that Charles Gambling as posted a repaint for the Abacus VC10 of XV104 in its 40th anniversary paint scheme.

File is xv104.zip & is available from "all nodes busy".

(Havn't been to other sites yet so don't know if its at Avsim etc)

But it's been done already by Andy for the proper VC 10 :dance:

The Abacus repaint has been done for the Super K4 and XV104 isn't a Super :huf:

It took some finding but I have found Andy's repaint. Took the aircraft for a fly in some of tonights "Yorkshire" weather :shock:

The real deal has for some reason been over flying (eastern) Doncaster on one or two days a week for the last couple of weeks.

Really nice to see them - though you know its a 'big un' & not one of Thomsonfly's 'little' jets by the din :dance:

i wish the RAF would fly the VC10 over Tyneside, all i get is E3 sentrys flying low over my work. which dont get me wrong is nice but a VC10(droool)

Like you said - Nowt wrong with that, but given the choice I know which one I would like to see!!! :dance:
