UKMIL are now making their own model. We plan a freeware Spitfire, but that will be after our first release, A RN Merlin MH1

as you can see by the pic, visually it is almost complete, just a couple of issues, such as the nose area.

the 2d cockpit is almost done, just a VC to complete, and it will be out. probably in the next few weeks

so hold on to your plastic, this is freeware.

Nice stuff! One thing though, why are the blades translucent? Have you been playing with the transparacy settings?

no, that is currently the effect during rotor turning, when static, they are solid. it has not been decided yet, as to how the rotors will look in the final release
