He seems like one of the few genuinely nice people on telly, hope he makes it.

What sad news. I really enjoy his presenting and he is a jolly nice fellow as well. Hope everything turns out ok.

God I really hope he pulls through. For me, he is the lynch pin that holds Top Gear together.

My thoughts are with his family at this stressful time.
I have become, comfortably numb.

Oh dear

A thoroughly nice chap.

My thoughts go to him and his family

At least they got him to where he needed to be quickly.

Very sad news and indeed a very likeable chap.
His condition is now (11.30pm) being described as 'stable'. I hope this is an indication of a positive outlook.
My thoughts and prayers to his young family.

Keep fighting, Richard!

Regards

Kevin

Yikes. I do agree, he's the one I like most of the group. Hell, he even bought a beautiful Green MOPAR.

My prayers to him and the family. Will be watching this one closely.

Very sad to hear of this as he certainly breathed fresh air to a series (Top Gear) which I lost a great deal of interest in as it was becoming very dull.

Just hope that he recovers well enough to return to his old self and continue his excellent programmes.
