[quote="Viscount Cornbank"]I've never seen a Britannia fly, although I saw a few on stand in active service, but watching those old Buccaneer episodes and reading the pilot's notes made me see what a marvelous, if very complex, aeroplane it actually was. It is undoubtedly the biggest missing gap in our virtual airliner heritage.
Hmmm,
I flew as a passenger in one from Nairobi to the UK...Took me several days to get my hearing back to normal. I would be happy to never see one again
I rather enjoyed some passenger flying in the boom of a Beverley and I joined BEA with an ex-Beverley pilot who really enthused about it...Perhaps I would like a Beverley to fly in the Aden area
That's if I can't have a Venom

I don't remember Britannia's being quite that noisey but perhaps that's why I'm partially deaf now!! It wasn't the noise that I remember from my Luqa-Brize flight.. more the fact I got wet Ice had formed around the door next to my seat and coming down over the channel, it started melting and I spent the rest of the flight getting dripped on :-({|=

what else is still missing from your fs2004
Piston provost or Hastings or perhaps the Lockheed Starliner.
Now at the age where I know I like girls but can't remember why!
Bristol Britannia ( because it was the first aircraft I ever went up in ).
Bristol Freighter.
A decent Curtiss C-46 with lots of South American charter airline skins.
A new HP Halifax ( exploring the possibilities of doing one meself.)
More Shorts and Supermarine interwar flying boats.
Mosquito
Tiger Moth ( the two versions I've tried were disappointing :-({|= )

Leif,
One of these? http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1126330/L/
If so, one is in progress: http://pwdt.virtualskies.net/index.phtml?page=news
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
And for some of the other people's requests, it would be useful to know what has been tried.
eg there is a Hastings out there that was mentioned recently - do we say where, or just assume it's been tried and is "no good"?

Peter, there is a Beverley which was originally for FS2002 but has been updated for FS2004 - no real VC but quite fun to fly.petermcleland wrote:Perhaps I would like a Beverley to fly in the Aden area
You can the base files on FlightSim.com (bevpt1.zip, bevpt2.zip, bevpt3.zip), and the FS2004 update (blackburnbeverleyupgrade.zip) at Classic British Files.
Cheers....
