Farnborough Airshow from Alphasim

Post by Trev Clark »

20 quid for the whole shabang maybe a bit steep, you may need a good PC to get the benefit, but it really is CLASSIC BRITISH AVIATION. Shame they did not do a 1955 version

Ah, two prices though! There's nothing 'missing' from the scenery in the £12.49 version ;)

If you want just the scenery, go for the cheaper one. If you want an airshow, go for the second package.

Apparently, it's quite good on the frames- I've got an old machine and I don't notice any stress.

Before someone chimes in- it's a VF product. I gain foxtrot alpha by giving you my opinion !

Hi Jason,

If you purchase the 'Airshow' version, you are given the option to install the parts separately. The airshow 'stuff' is easily uninstalled.

Hi Dan, just the man I have meaning to contact!

As the creator of the VC for the Alphasim Caribou (which is damn good), are you going to release a patch that adds the U/C warning lights that are missing and allows you to actually open the windows, as the curser says! It would also enable me to stick my head out to see if the U/C has come down too :worried:
Sorry, I could not be arsed to register on the Alpha forum to ask :tuttut:

Hi Trev,

I can most probably do it- I've got the source etc still. I'll ask Phil if we can fit it in.. and let you know via PM.
