At the moment I am suffering mostly from SP1-itis...

Having installed FSX SP1 after reading the instructions - the explicit and carefully worded instructions direct from the horses mouth - and obeyed them and now having a completely refreshed FSX to actually fly in, rather than st-st-st-stutter around in, I find hordes of idiot posts in the main simming forums from retards, morons, children and imbeciles berating and moaning their way through the "SP1 is cr.ap." routine, when it is abundantly clear that the cause is their own witless perspicacity. Clockwork is too complicated for these dimwits.

At one time I liked to prod these people with a stick. :poke:

I am less tolerant these days and would prefer to: "line `em all up, put them in a field, and bomb the bastards..." as Kenny Everett would say (or it might have been George S. Patton. Same difference). As this is not normally permitted ("Shame!" I hear you cry), I tend to drop in on those forums, see what fecklessness is about - and naff off again before I get annoyed.

As a result, I find I have MUCH more time for simming these days and have returned to the sense and sensibility of FS9. I have now learned the starting procedure for the 748/780 off by heart - and in fact dreamed it last night. :huf:

So I'd like to thank the ACES team for producing FSX and diverting the fecund element into cowpat-covered pastures new. You've made FS9 SO much more enjoyable... :-$

Now where did I leave that Chippie..?

Something weird has happened today ....

After the usual drifting along, I suddenly found myself in good old ASGK, taxiing merrily along the TWY's at Boston......

without even noticing I'm suddenly just south of Greenland and on my way to Prestwick.....

Don't really know what went wrong there, but I'm actually flying in FS.... :dunno:
