I dont use this method I use ASV 6 to get my weather and have no trouble, does ASV use the same source for its wx?

I don't think so Tony.
FSMetar.exe hasn't the problem either....
I must be dependant of which server the metars are loaded from. Obviously Jeppesen isn't a good choice these days ;-)
I use NOAA... No Prob
(Or FSX1+SP1, no prob either...

Just thought I'd try it and I get the same symptoms, FS just dissappears. Thankfully i use ASV6 now and that doesn't have any probs. Prior to this I used FSMetar and can recommentd that to anyone thats needs a freeware real weather prog.

Looks like MS are aware of it.
A member posted a few messages down that he got an email back from microsoft saying they were aware of the problem and it is due to server maintenance and should be back up in 24-72 hours.

John,
That is what happens when you try with the Download Upper Winds box UNticked...It actually starts loading the data into FS9 but then a CTD. If you have the box ticked, then after the download it pauses without actually loading anything into FS9 but then closes FS9 down with a Dr. Watson. Anyway, I'm pleased they are onto it and look forward to it being fixed.
Dave and others...thanks for the replies...I'll just keep an eye on it

Hello there good people. I am having the same problem with FS9 real world weather. Maybe the rain is drowning us here in Holland
But on a more serious note, I see the data that is coming in is a bit corrupted. Server problems at Jeppesen most likely the cause.
