Thanks Eric,

Yes, it is really a moving experience...I had to look hard to find him among the people getting off the train...Then I spotted him and had the pleasure of watching him scan around for me, spot me and recognise me :)

He has phoned since going home and put me in contact with yet another Rhodesian from 266, Barry Raffle, who was visiting Roy Morris (in the photo) in South Africa...He also gave me a telephone number that lets you ring anywhere for 4p per minute...So I rang Roy and chatted with him and Barry for a while. A great pleasure!

Planning a trip out to South Africa now for a visit :)

Meeting old mates is always fun. I bumped into a chap I used to know a few days ago and we had a right laugh over a few pints. I bet we didn't have even a tenth as much to reminisce over as you though

Finally got back into it today Nigel and managed to add three pages, including Dup's picture. I also corrected some dead or obsolete links. I haven't worked on it for about three or four years so I had to learn the software again :-( ...Anyway, reasonably confident again now and will keep at it till all my Military stuff is in :)

Brilliant Peter, this is one era of flying that I find to be most interesting and you account of it is captivating.

Many thanks.

Regards Nigel.
