Like Leif, I too would like to pass on my thanks to his family for sharing these. I've just "wasted" an hour or so as a result of these and will probably "waste" some more time yet. What a glorious "waste" of time.

Seems XM349 the JP got around - I found another photo 3 years late at St Mawgan here

Indeed it does, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they were all specially polished-up for the Royal Review by the Queen which took place at Abingdon the day before! ;-)

Nice photos Pete. I have a lovely shot - a general view of all the static stuff from that show. In it, I counted 16 different fixed-wing transport types!! :o I don't know what site it came from, so don't know if I should post it on here, but if anyone would like a copy, PM me.

At least there is still the odd flying activity at Abingdon, AND they still have an Airshow ...amazingly!!
