Yes, I'm bound for Cocos Is. at 37000 feet and the pressurisation is behaving perfectly and the ticks appear on the checklist...I was even able to turn the cabin altitude back down from 8000 to 7000 and it descended gently to that with the pressure creeping up to nearly 8.5 PSI. Then I set it back to 8000 feet and it goes to it exactly and thus does not go into the red.

Variation today at Perth has changed on route yesterday from 20 odd degrees East to 3 degrees West on this leg today. The +3 degrees is being correctly applied and the wind is being shown now in Magnetic instead of True...Just remains for me to check that it is correctly applied when it goes back to Easterly. BTW...the wind is 110 knots at the moment :-(

Sadly I forgot to check the undercarriage indicator on the overhead panel before departure so I will have to wait till I'm landing at Cocos Is. to check that is fixed...I'll edit this then. Thanks Dave :welldone:

Edit...Yes, the undercarriage green lights in the overhead panel display correctly now :) ...Nice day at Cocos...Overcast but good base and visibility...No ILS but a VOR and an NDB. Standover day here tomorrow. Aeroplane is lovely and does wonderful smooth landings.

Thanks Peter, nice to hear it's all as expected & you're enjoying it.
I'll get the same update released on the old website in the near future.

Are you still getting that trouble with the panel lights going off?

I only wish FlyNet was back up so I could join in with a few proper test flights. For some reason, I just don't find myself wanting to fly point to point without it.

Cheers
David

David,

As this is a Staff Tour, the only flying in the dark was scheduled for the first night...All other flights depart at the very respectable hour of 10:00 am Local :)

I'll fit in another test of the panel light failure one night while they are all partying
