Jonesey and Garry,go wash your mouths out with very, very strong soap, you naughty boys.

.
I can see the operating economics of the turbo-Dak,no leaky expensive to maintain radials, more poke, easier to get fuel for and so on,but I'm afraid it's not really my bag.
A Dak without P&W radials just isn't really a Dak.Just my 2/- worth.
But,having said that,I'd be surprised if one the more "enterprising" Fs modellers hadn't done one.
Garry,some one will ask for a turbo-Freighter next :o :o :o :o :o

The first turboprop DC-3s were BEA's Dart Dakotas (probably counts as CB rather than CB). There was a freeware version of this for FS5, which could be made to fly quite reasonably in FS2002. There have been attempts to produce a BT-67 model, but I don't think any of them got very far. That said, there is one VA (Dakair) which occasionally operates a BT-67. It uses the default FS9 DC-3 model, with modified aircraft.cfg and .air files (largely a cut-and-shut job using DC-3 files and some from something with the correct engines), a suitable panel (derived from one of Norman Hancock's DC-3 panels) with lots of "bells and whistles", and user's own choice of sound and paintjob. It ain't perfect, by a long way, but it's largely mine (I had assistance from some very respectable FS names but won't name them here to avoid any embarrassment

). It will probably never be available for download, but if anyone is desparate enough for a "Basler experience", please PM me, and I'll see if I can email all the appropriate bits to you.
PS - if anyone wants to do BT67 model, or even better a Dart Dakota, I'll have one!

That's the one matey.

Bet it'll lift more than a turbo-Dak too.And yes,the T-Dak is a monstrosity.A Dak without it's P&W's is like Dirty Harry without his Smith&Wesson.
Just not the real thing

Dead right Garry.Proper P&W's are round, have 9 or 18 cylinders minimum and run on AvGas.
