It is a strange one Dave... reminds me of Windows 3.1 640 x 480 interlaced :roll: Jees I am old!

Exactly mate. I can't see a reason for it. FS9 works just fine.. Call of Duty2.. just me old matey FSX choosing to be the odd one out :think:

Hi Folks
Ben -
The screenie shows the CTRL+Z line 1 info (windspeed kts)
wrapped onto the second band,
as if the card thinks the window is double the actual width .
At a guess it's a res versus VSync/refresh rate issue.
Check your settings on the video card output.

I've never felt so frustrated....... died so frequently/spectacularly/or needlessly....... yet had so much fun, in a long time.

All sorted now Paul. my LCD can run at 75Hz, and thats what I had it set to. For some reason, FSX doesn't like this when windowed and AA is aplication controlled. I've set the monitor back to 60Hz and all is well.
Cheers
Cheers
Ben.

Re: Sorry Peter... FSX tweaks (large image)
Hi Ben
i can only get the MipBias setting to function when it's with my Video card settings in the FSX.cfg.
does nothing if placed in [Display] section
Like this
[DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX.0]
Mode=1920x1200x32
MipBias=6
Anisotropic=1
AntiAlias=1
regards

I suppose the missing linefeed is a typo? If not that is the problem...
