From the BBC News home page:

I flew in FlyBe's G-JECO last year, and encountered no problems at all...other than the captain asking us to stand in the aisle and jump up and down a couple of times on finals.

Yes they all belong to the SAS Commuter division:XR219 wrote:Are the Q400's opperated by a specific division... i.e. like a commuter division?
Most thing regarding the fleet can be found on the flightOps site:

Must have done. There was a bit of a clunk then he said "Okay, panic over, you can all sit down again". ;-)

Dan,its' seen as a BF Goodrich problem (they designed and make the landing gear) rather than a Bombardier one;DanKH wrote:Bombardier doesn't seem to like SAS's decision (I wonder why  )

Re: SAS's Crash-8's sold?
Within hours it was being suggested this latest icident was not related to the earlier failures.
This seems to confirm that

I doubt that this knowledge would improve potential SAS passeneger's perception of the type as a whole making the airlines decision to end operations with the type still valid.

Re: SAS's Crash-8's sold?
You are absolutely right there Garry.
I don't think we will see a Dash-8 in SAS livery for next many months/years. The customers anxiety is too much to risk. Even though the latest incident has no relation to the others, the result of the O-ring failure was very similar to the collapsed gears.... even though they were caused by completely different matters.
That is not easily explained to Mr. and Mrs. Smith I an way so they will feel relaxed next time they are about to board a Dash-8..... So it is my firm believe that SAS' decision stands.... for a very long time.

They have spread out the routes to the subcontractors/codeshares they have mostly. That's the most recent I know.
