Here is the only parking dock for traffic at the moment but I will add another. Notice the Cabin fire is lit today.

Peter, thanks for the wonderful screenies, very glad to see you enjoy our old Dakota Lady on floats so much.

Initially i didn't even want to think about adding those big boats to my DC-3 model. Always thought they did away with the sophisticated look of the Dakota. I was wrong !! After having been pursuated to the limit ( mostly by my friend Mark Beaumont ), the more i worked on the floater version the more i started to appreciate it. Now i even think those floats look quite natural on the DC-3, gives it a nice special character. How on earth i did not notice that before is a mystery to me. I guess it's like good ol' cognac and whiskey, you have to *learn* how to enjoy them.

And thanks also for your nice comments about the DC-3's VC and panel, it's highly appreciated especially comming from you.

Yes, I enjoy the Amphibian very much and just love the way she sets down on the water...I've added some water sounds and they sound great. I've also done the usual things to allow me to taxy her without rudder pedals...Btw...The other day when I arrived here, I shut down the engines from Spot View with the keyboard and got a real shock as she started emitting flames and smoke from both engines...I had left the Auto Mixture modification switched on

Anyway regardless of that I was wondering why the copilot needed 'alcohol' ???

Something we should be worried about??

Yes, well spotted Jim...At present the big building over on the other side of the bay (Marine Services) will only show for those who have Freight Dogs installed. I'm afraid the people belong to someone else so only I have them...I do have plans for using the principle to display my own people and then I'll share them, but I've not really got into that project yet.

Alcohol on the DC3 is used for deicing, windscreens and props...So no, don't worry about it. I've noticed that the contents on those two gauges do actually decrease when using the de-icing.

I don't think you have the beach hut yet either Jim...I'll do something about that one soon...Let me know about any other bits...There is an old hermits hut up in the trees off the military apron. And of course the Ghost Tower...Have you seen that yet? It will appear in the right circumstances where that gravestone is on the beach
