I just wish more people had a go at modelling as it';s a lot easier than you think
Ummm Rick, does that apply any-one?? Now,lets see, I once tried my hand at DIY.....Had a new carpet put down once.
Problem 1....the carpet was thick-pile.....
Problem 2.....The bedroom door would not open or close without dragging on the carpet.....
Solution...... Shorten the door
Problem 3......Shortened wrong end!! :doho: :brick:
The moral to this.......leave it to the experts......and that will include modelling!!
Nigel.

it's got to me a few times but my skin has thickened and i get a huge buzz from the global thanks e mails when a new model is released.
I suppose it also helps to think, for those emails and posts that criticise, and also those that give thanks, there may be many hundreds or thousands of FS users who are very very happy with the models and utilities the FS community produces, but don't outwardly express their gratitude...
if you can paint models your well over half way there. :drinkers:
Doh! That's me out then! STUPID :flying:

Looks like the community might have lost another modeler. :-(

Reading this post, this is the first that I have heard about the matter. I am not the interputer if that is what anyone is thinking. I think and this is only my views on the matter, is that he uses some kind of interupter software as his emails are in very broken english (far far better than my japanese) and perhaps something has occured in this instance. There was a thread at the Sim-Outhouse recently where he and I totally got the wrong end of the stick when his Roc was featured in the CFS2 section. He and then I had been convinced that it had been converted when only a new colour scheme had been introduced.
I for one cant see how people can criticise something for a point being so minor in some instance. He along with any other freeware developer has taken the time and the patience to sit down and build something in their spare time. They havent gone down the pub, sat watching the TV or mowed the grass, they have given up their time and patience and for that we should all be grateful. I recently aired my views on this in the Sim-Outhouse in a thread and it didnt go down very well at all. Manners cost nothing and in this day and age they are becoming less and less frequent. Someone will probably moan about tyre pressures one day!!
Kazunori nearly gave up when FSX was introduced and I managed along with a few others to get him back then, but this I know nothing about at all, its a shock to me as to all of you.
I will check my email tonight upon getting home and if I can find anything else out, I will duly of course let you all know.

Apology to make.....I should read all of the posts....before making any posts at all....I see that its now a false alarm and that production is continuing as per normal (see if I have a shopping list when I get home).
Now, there is something else which may be affecting the whole situation too. I might have said the wrong thing in here recently and for that I apologise too, as at the moment everything is going downhill in my household and well, I just don't what to say or where to start. You may have read my recent thread at the outhouse, but my Mum has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and so my world has been turned completed upside down. This in turn has given me a totally different change of character (I'm normally a very nice guy) and so I can become very very argumentative at times - for what reason I just dont know. I hope that those who have been in the same position as me in the past will somehow realise and for those who don't, I really do apologise.
Sorry for wasting lots of time. I dont know what else to say.
Best wishes,
Martin

Hi Martin
Firstly sorry to hear about you Mums diagnosis......I hope that this can improve , there is always hope my thoughts are with her, yourself and all the family . We understand thes sorts of things and how pressure can affect judgement.
As to your posting. I see nothing wrong here. The thread up until your posting above contained the story as we knew it and the problems seems to have been resolved if indeed there was really a problem.
As to your comments....they are fair comments made in good faith and a good statemenet to make in respect of freeware in general and Mr.Ito in this instance which does get taken for granted, maybe not here to the extent it does in other places but a fair comment.
Those who have read this thread through I am sure will understand both the fact that the situation was already resolved and that with your involvement with Mr. Ito you felt you had to say something and why you said it
In short I feel it will be read for what it is....a statement containing some useful information from someone who will know....like the auto translater and I can't see that this post would upset anyone here.
I am glad you felt that you could say what you wanted at the time you needed to say it and still maintain politeness which on many forums is nowhere to be seen.

Martin, so sorry to hear of your mother, your change of character is probably no different to many people who have loved ones' diagnosed with life threatening illnessess, it is just one way of releasing the pent up anger, helplessness and frustration that you are feeling.
Our thoughts are with you and your family.
Regards Nigel.

Thank you Gentlemen for your kind comments.
Well, I've checked my email and there's nothing there, so I presume its business as usual. Just waiting for my usual 'shopping list' from Kazunori to see what I can find this time. The Ju388 was nothing to do with me, as the only reference material I had was from a few publications and Aircraft of the Fighting Powers.
Again thanks, it means a lot to me.
Best wishes to all,
Martin
