I'm gathering the armada at Montreal.. one more York to get from NY so that's currently a fleet of 3 Yorks and 1 Lanc on the apron. I may well leave one at Gander as there's routing for it to Bermadu and of course, the ACA Vanguards now go there so it'll add a bit more variation. It'll be one with no current reg/paint combination. We have so few paints for the York's that it was a shame to let one of my fave's (Skyways) sit at NY (AHEY) doing nowt so that one will definately be returning home ;-)

Tks for the offer mate but they really are a long, hard slog so I won't be disappointed if you decide not to. Gander to Kef is well in excess of 7hrs (closer to 8hrs) and it can be soul destroying at x1. If you don't mind x2+.. then by all means! ;-)

OFFTOPIC

I did fly the Superfreighter from Bronson Creek BC back to the UK....yep it took a while

Got nothing to do with this but I thought I'd mention it. I took off from somewhere in Greenland that was toward high ground a little way off and when I got there it was a long, low gradient up to the highest point which was similar to my RoC. :worried: :o  So up I went for ages climbing but never more than about a hundred feet off the ground :worried:

That sounds very much like rwy7 at BGBW mate. It's one of those places where you're climbing and you can see you're climbing on the VSI/ALT but you're getting no higher off the ground!
