Nice plane, nice flying and nice video.
I should think the FAA would like to interview you on a number of subjects after that!
BTW that hill on the approach to 31 looks quite high, do you not require a displaced threshold there?
Steve,
My base was built before the advent of Glacier Bay v2 and there was no problem there then...As it is now, Holger Sandmann's JCBs have quarried out the necessary ground to keep the airport there and used a bit of the soil to refloat the far end of the beach which was pushed under water. All Traffic, including the President's Air Force One, operate safely into either end of the runway although parts of the runway 13 approach are marginal on Terrain Clearance and that approach would have to be Offset to be licensed in real life. Although I could place a displaced threshold on runway 31 without losing take-off length, this would be very disruptive to the immensly complex AI Traffic system that has evolved here over the years. In fact the latest AFCAD that I have published is so "knife edge" in this respect that users are warned never to make any edit whatsoever, for fear of breaking it
BTW...FAA inspectors don't come here anymore because of the sharks

No, but he never disclosed where the pilots of the F-16s came from, did he? The US markings are just a disguise

Thanks Peter, will look forward to seeing another when Bandit Enterprise beef it up.
Well the carbs were fitted yesterday on two of the aircraft...Just in time for me to do a dusk air test...I put the odd roll in for you Nigel.
Can't think why I didn't post that in this thread but I put it in a new one called "Rolling for Nigel"

Leif, they don't actually bother them...But it is so long since any of them visited that they are starting to look a bit thin and emaciated
