I do 90% of my flights without ever leaving the office mate so this sort of thing generally passes me by

Hi Gents.I can confirm the use of wing views on the 1-11.They are superb. You can watch the speed brakes and flaps extend/retract while in wing view mode.Brilliant.

Interesting. I get the side view, but no wing/window etc. Which version of DM's masterpiece are you on - I am on the most recent, but I only have the 400 loaded

Just checked out the 400 and 500 and have wing views on all, it could be that you might need to download all of the BAC 1-11s' as in the DMFS shared files there maybe something written in one file that links to all of the 1-11s' that allow wing views? If you know what I mean.

I'm certain I have the last version & can confirm that all marks of 1-11 have wings modelled in the VC.
In VC mode if you put your head out the side window & look behind, you can see the wings. The wing view toggle is nothing clever & just makes these 'interior view' wings vanish/appear.
There never were any bitmap wing views available from my website, but there may be some on AVSIM etc.
There used to be bitmap interior cockpit views, but these were phased out when the model went VC, because FS automatically shows you the VC interior when you look around in 2D mode.
The later versions all have a VC. Any no-VC model or panel will be an old version.
'Hold down 5 then press either 1,3,7,or 9 for wing views' is indeed correct, but is only what comes built into FS for all models & not any idea of mine. :doho:
Cheers
