Which gets back to why they had the lockers in the first place....
It's amazing how some people within airlines think they'll save a hundred pounds of weight that's "unnecessary" and it comes back to bite them in the rear because they didn't consider what would happen when that item's not available.

Never had a PAX piss off on one my flights but once did see a bloke die of a heart attack underwater in a scuba dive.
