It's not freeware, or freely availiable (as you have to pay for membership) until general release and yes it does often cause confusion so what's the harm in you saying that it's members only for a week or whatever??
There are always newbies ;-)

There are obviously two types of membership. "Club Membership" is when you have paid £9.99, and can download Beta airfields etc, and ordinary Member, which you become after registering at UKMIL.
I'm logged on, and showing as a "Member" but am not able to download "Waddo" That's OK by me!
It does just look like a general release on the site though. Admittedly it's no huge problem, but just stating that "you don't have permission" is likely to confuse people, especially those who don't know about the UKMIL club membership system. The fact that people were asking about it here shows that!
Just a change in wording would be appreciated, I guess.
on our site it clearly states it is for club members only. on other sites, i always simply state it is released, as technically it is. it is what is known as 'advertising' and if you are unfamiliar with it, it is used to 'drive traffic' to a website! So i so no need to change
Well Gaffer, if you drive people to your website by dangling a goodie in front of them, then refuse to allow them to have it, it could well prove to be counterproductive.
You could reword it for "Paid up Members only" to distinguish it from "Members" like myself.
