always work. I make quite a few panel changes for my own use and using my key combination it will usually reload the panel with the changes. Today I had to adjust the Radio configuration in an aircraft.cfg file and I used the key combination to reload and the change was made. I am not sure if it will work for other aircraft.cfg parameters. Sometimes you have to hit the key combo more than once, and if that fails you can resort to the main menu routine. Even doing that, I rarely find it necessary to change to another aircraft - just go to the main menu and return with the same aircraft.
On panels, if you open a window in the panel that is not open by default on loading - eg the GPS or Radio Stack, then hit your Reload User Aircraft key, you will know when the panel has reloaded because the opened window will close just as if you had loaded the aircraft from scratch.
This is for FS9, I don't have a clue about anything to do with the darkside.

Thanks for that Nigel...I have set mine to the same as yours and will be delighted when it works...I did try it long ago but never managed to find out the rules for when it did or didn't work. One other reset I use is "Reload Scenery" and have it set to the key "R"...useful when flying over very intensive photo scenery like Alaska Cinematic or Switzerland Pro.

BTW...On this aircraft there is an excellent RMI with two needles but the aircraft is not fitted with two Nav sets...If you are an FSNav user, you can simply make one change in the Aircraft.cfg and then you can fully use both needles.
[Radios]
// Radio Type = availiable, standby frequency, has glide slope
Audio.1 = 1
Com.1 = 1, 0
Com.2 = 0, 0
Nav.1 = 1, 0, 0
Nav.2 = 1, 0, 0
Adf.1 = 1
Transponder.1 = 1
Marker.1 = 0
The only change is that "1" against Nav.2 ...Now FSNav will show boxes for both frequencies and you can drag and drop the Nav facility from the FSNav map to the NAV2 box to change its frequency...No need to add anything for frequency changing in the aircraft's panel.

Hi Peter...
Found the CAB file in my FS9 directory.
I now have changed to the original panel bitmap, using the XML gauges in that file.
The panel, made by Pierre Fasseaux, who also created the XML gauges, is available at AVSIM.COM as
fp_pa18p.zip.
This panel gives a real authentic feeling and ALL gauges function perfectly in 2D and VC.
It looks like this and... I think I will stick to this panel:
From FLIGHTSIM.COM I downloaded
CUB9X.zip, just to "steal" the PA-18 150 hp sound files for this beautiful Super Cub.
BTW, the scenery I use for the screenshots is NL2000 v3, the airbase is Gilze Rijen AB, where the
Dutch Air Force Historical Flight has its home (
http://www.skhv.nl).
I am a (non pilot-licensed) member of this club, called "flying partner".
Unfortunately our "home" is not in the scenery, I hope it will be in NL2000 v4, which will be for FSX.
Grtz.

Johan,
I handed my Super Cub over to the Bandit Enterprises chaps and they did a lot of work on it...Here is my latest flight test of their work:-

Johan,
It is not yet available for download as it is not yet complete...When it is complete I will not be able to make it generally available but Bandit Enterprises will take individual private orders for conversions

I extensively flew Supercubs in the late seventies and I found that, in the Narcizo air model, it seems rather difficult to make a good three point landing. The plane approaches too fast , with or without full flaps and I land on three wells only after 2000 ft runway gone back... :think:
