The fact it is a budgie is the only signifigance of the post.... the woman bit was just a tongue in cheek comment and no claim to uniquenss :worried:

The voices to me sounded like NZ accents.

It may not be a recent film :dunno:

That was my pint.the music was added and spoilt the video as they always do :@

The main reason I stopped buying from DVD Video Garry. Could not get through to them that if I wanted to listen to music I would put the HI FI on.

The last straw was a video of the Hunter, ruined by poxy music.

It's not that bad, it suits the pace of the video and it could be far worse (i.e someone could have dubbed the Top Gun theme over the top).

That is one reason I have given up watching documentaries, films and the like, the music always seems to over-ride the commentary and ruin it.....completely!! Now I have that awful background music going through my head and cannot get rid of it!! :@
are the lights off angle at the destination airport or did they really come in on 4 whites??
I was thinking exactly the same Dave, even watching them as they flew past thinking that any time now at least one will turn a bootiful shade of red!!

BTW Garry, brilliant but not the moosic!!

Nigel.

Hi Chris

Nope it is bad    ......there should NEVER be music dubbed over the top ever....including in films

It annoyed me intensely.

Why on earth would anyone evr want to listen to music over something...we get it on the news as they read the headline, totally irritating.
:) :)

If there should never be music dubbed over films I take it there are almost no films whatsoever you enjoy?

Avoid the ground-breaking masterpiece that is the Qatsi trilogy like the plague if that is the case.

There are very few films I enjoy and of those I do watch I am irritated by the music

I last went to the cinema with my son because he wanted to see Titanic...this was in 1998...previous to that I last went to see a film in 1978

I don't have a TV either

That's a shame, there's an awful lot of utter crap out there on the airwaves and in cinema-land but there are a few hidden gems. I personally couldn't imagine a life without film and music and books and all sorts of arts, they are all connected and each is just as relevant as the other in my opinion.

Well I play music but I don't listen to it on the radio........

This probably because I am never sitting doing nothing as such

I am always doing this....or something else, sometimes drawing or whatever

So since I'm always doing something else, the noise is just a distraction

On Sat I pop next door and watch Harry Hill's TV Burp

That is the only time I sit and do nothing apart from watch the TV

The 30 mins is all I can take without going back and at least trying to do something iother than just sit around

So you can say in a way I am preiouvsly occupied..........I just rather be doing something else.

Occasionally I watch clips on the PC.
