I think the link can still be found at AVSIM, but to be honest, I never followed it more than knowing it existed because I never intended to do any AA repaints.

Nice stuff Tony
Thanks for including two of my Alma Maters -- The Key grey actually changed at different times of day and light
Somewhere I have a photo of 5 parked on the Nellis ramp at sunrise and the colour looks rose :o
The later GAT colours were basically and overpainted TWA scheme but as you said the first two originals were AWFFUL
Looking forward to them
Leif
Now how much do I need to slip you to do the "Queer Sisters" N356QS and N357QS (Also known as "The Magnum") in the all red Emery paintscheme as operated by CAM-AIR

very nice.
my only issue so far is getting the early 727-100 up to speed and altitude fully loaded.
is this something that is a issue with the plane, flight model, or me (most likely)
going to get the late one in AA colors since this is my favorite livery .
also, any chance some in corporate or private colors are going up soon. I know a lot of them ended up in private hands after retirement..... and I like joyriding and don't want to take a member of somebodies fleet when I go up to Yellowknife or such.
oh and what is a good climb and cruise EPR, I am getting over the takeoff EPR when I am climbing out and cruising. is that normal.....

Mike MONCE has responded appropriately to "BIG RED's" query over on the HJG websitte forum .... and I've chipped in there also with my following statement ....
Mike & myself had to work like hell to get the B727 FDE to a reasonably acceptable standard (fort both sim versions) in order for it to be ready for the December website update. We realize there "IS" a minor issue with the current FDE version .... both with climb and cruise speed performances above FL270. This performance issue will appear more pronounced if no fuel/payload adjustment is made to ensure that weight is below MGTOW for these aircraft. Reduced weights will alleviate the climb/cruise speed issue to some extent .... but .... still also require higher power settings than desirable for decent/realistic speeds to be maintained.
It takes a huge amount of time to develop, test, and perfect FDE work.
Mike & I will revisit this in the future .... after a break.
I did actually state within briefing notes (posted as part of this latest HJG website update) that both the B727-100 FDE, and new soundpacks too, were BETA versions .... folks whom haven't studied these notes will have missed this.
We'll look at further fine tuning things "LATER" .... after my current huge realworld workload reduces somewhat

thanks for the help here and in the HJG forum.
I know you all are concerned about your planes being accurate, that is why I bring up any issues I have. I am very happy with the plane though, it is by far the best 727 I have flown in fs9. and I look forward to updates and the 727-200
