W O W!! :o If a girl has to wear a uniform.. I can think of no better looking bit of kit than that

Looking at the later PSA uniforms on that site Jelle posted.. I couldn't imagine any laundry being seen unless the hosties where walking on their hands  With the one above.. I can't imagine how they'd STOP showing their smalls doing anything more basic than standing still!

Oh dear, I can see how forgetting a certain item could cause problems there.... :worried:

Airlines sometimes go through a retro period.... isn't it time that someone resurrected this particular uniform :tab:

And as Garry said - we have left alot of things behind :(

I guess the picture could also be applied to the title of the thread ;)

Another pic of some of PSA's lovely ladies. I'd be wearing out the 'call' button if I flew with these gals. *ding* Can I please have another pillow? *ding* When are we going to land? *ding* Could you please pick up the pencil that I just dropped? ;-)

Perhaps a partial rollout mate.. certainly not across the board. I want to keep the customers I have.. not scare em off!

It's an odd story that one. How can you 'forget' to put your undies on   Add to the equation that most women (the ones I know anyway) ALWAYS carry spares and I find it hard to believe this forgetful wench had to travel 'eu natural' with so many other gals (possible sources of spares) available. Still.. breaks the ice at parties I suppose ;-)

OFFTOPIC
And now as Paul Harvey used to say "The other half of the story" Of course they didn't trollop around in those uniforms without anything under them -- PSA issued these rather cute little ruffled camiknickers that they wore underneath those very very micro-mini's (Havn't used that expression in thirty years) It was these which she forgot -- so poor child had to do the first four legs of the day (SAN-LAX-SFO-SAN) in just her tights and whatever she wore under them - Jim Patterson being the gentlemen that he is apparently trotted over to the Uniform store at SAN and got her a pair of "Frillies" (Apparently thats how PSA referred to them) and handed them to her on the turn in SAN.
;-)

Seem to remember Skyways girls wore rather short bottle green hot pants , a battledress jacket and a sombrero style hat towards the end before being taken over by Dan and being relegated to Dan Dares pedestrian uniforms. My favorite uniforms from that time were the Callie girls in very short Kilts and those cute black velvet tams
