I remember the Peters Aviation ones coming in and out of Blackpool, probably mid-70s (not sure) from Norwich. Early days of the Morecambe Bay gas field exploration I think.

May I be so bold as to ask a couple of questions?

FSX version?

VC?

Hi Fodda

It is FS.9 and seems to run OK in FS.X

There is no VC at present.

Hey up! A VC! :o It'll be exactly 2 years in two days time that a Heron forum was opened in our R&D section. Let's not complicate things further by asking for a VC

Nice bit of painting there Mr Palmer

That'll be a nice run for me to try out, I used to live under the Norwich flightpath and Blackpool is one of my favourite airports!

No VC? :'(

Oh well... I miss the Dove too. I'm too used to flying using TrackIR and VCs to go back to 2D cockpits now.

 Problem is that it takes as long or even longer to make a VC as it does to make the model, if it is to be of a high enough standard to be worth it.

How true that is ;-) I'm sure it was DelP's original intention to model a VC with the Heron but with the RW cr@p he's had to deal with over the past couple of years.. the project has gone from love to love hate to hate hate so for the sake of the model.. it's best it gets out sooner rather than later. Add to that.. his equipment was zapped by lightning last week.. just as he was about to send us another beta :o I think our Derek will be glad to see the back of his torid affair with De Havilland
