Dunno how different the CP Aero Clubs CoA might be but that's now like the Cinque Ports CoA. I don't know what it IS but I don't think it's that.

Zooming in on it, its heraldic, almost definitely a family crest/coat of arms methinks, Sire.
Has a Knight's helmet and feathers either side at the top half.
Aircraft ownership from CAA is as follows: -
http://www.caa.co.uk/application.aspx?c ... gmark=AMZT
Two of the owner's surnames have the helmet and feathers in their family crests from what I could find on Google, but none have the bottom half.
Loads of other photos on the net of it with the crest on it as well. Might be easier to contact the owners and politely ask them... :worried:

I've only just returned home (Ireland was a no go this time, due to the somewhat bad weather that they are having over the next few days) and so a dash was made for Eggesford from Gigha.

Just checking my emails and have a quick look through here and noticed this thread. AMZT was rebuilt at Eggesford a couple of years ago following an accident in Germany and so have plenty of photos of her.....somewhere!! As have a bit of stick time in this aeroplane, I'm sure I can find a clearer image of the coat of arms as seem to take a lot of photos of aircraft once my posterior has been within. If that fails, will ask the owners for you.

Off to bed now, but will report back tomorrow and bore you all with my adventures in AMMS. Am so glad that this is now available for all to fly. She's a remarkable aeroplane and we had no problems at all in some ten hours of flying. A lovely old flying machine.
