HS748 Slewing

Yes it does Jim and it also goes up to around 5500kts. In the interest of science, I slewed the pants off it trying to get it to fail but alas.. it wouldn't. I also tried starting WITH the 748 and it still didn't fail :o One thing it DID do though was 'flew on' after the slew when the slew was started stopped with brakes on. Why some aircraft do this and others don't, I've no idea but there you go ;-)

Have slewed the HS.748 for 1000s of miles and not a single lockup.

sounds like the usual AFCAD or scenery error to me

probably does it easier with the 748 as it's complex model & system wise which puts a load on your PC

Further questions: DO you load the 748 when you start the flight, or a default aircraft firts?
Are you following the full checklist particularly engine management?

I have started with a default aircraft then whichover to the HS748. As for checklists, Im still learning to fly the HS748 and enjoying it.

Right.... well, I certainly haven't been able to replicate the engines failing with slew. Two things certainly will cause problems however...

as mentioned, using the throttles harshly (in which case, the amber light above the feathering switch lights) - you can hit this switch to 'un feather' the props.

If you see Gen or Inv fail, the only thing off the top of my head I can think is that you have not switched on the alternators for each engine, or you are taking the aircraft very high.
