I tried two others but found fraps to be the better.
I've just added this to the tube, my second vid trying different angles..........Sweet Merlins

Hi Gary
I tried to post on your first vid but the forum was playing up at the time and I lost the will to live
Enjoyed the first vid and have enjoyed the second one moreso. One can pick holes but that's not important. As for cutting your teeth.. the subject matter is good.. the content is good.. and they play extremely well. There's nothing worse than trying to watch something streaming every few seconds and neither of your vid's do that even on my long-in-the-tooth XP3200 ;-)
Whatever it is you're doing and however you're doing it.. you're on the right path. I for one will be keeping a weather-eye open for future releases ;-)

Hi Gary

Loved it....well done

there is always something about flying in formation that I find extremely challenging and also satisfying when it's done right.
Next time though could you detail a raid on Parliament!!
Regards
Nigel.

Fraps is priceless IMHO...i just record at 15FPS with fraps then up the FPS in other software to the point that things smooth out.....might be wise to save the sound at normal speed first then cut it and paste it into the finished rendering to save poor quality.....I am lucky and have Sony Vegas.....this helps a lot but WMM is ok and so is V Dub if you can get it working.... ;-)
One of mine....shameless plug....

Loved that one !! Gary, can I make a suggestion ? If you can, find a recording of birds singing, and add it during those scenes where we are standing on the ground watching the four fly over, and then the single one. Just a
faint hint of birds singing, and you really would be sitting on the grass on a summer afternoon watching Lancs overhead.

Good point there Paul
The birds sunging giving a hint of Summer has the effect of putting one back in the past....years ago, when we used to have summers

Tony - the first time I watched your video I had to call the Samaritans because the soundtrack depressed me so much :-( Fortunately I have them on speed dial so I recovered quickly. This time I remembered and muted it first

Perhaps next time you'll consider Paul's birdsong idea - or maybe whale songs? How about pan pipes by a forest stream? Anything but the Beatles
Just a suggestion ...
Ian ;-)

I don't like the Britannia anyway but that vid/soundtrack combination hurt.. and then some

Ian's reply went some way to redressing the deficit though
