BTW I answered BEA's advertisement for pilots in 1964...I was busy at Avigation in Ealing at the time, getting my ATPL.

In the video, I recognised Tony Angus, the Training Captain in the Trident...About eleven years later (1975) he was the training captain on my first three flights in the Trident 3, on my base training at Prestwick...The aircraft was G-AWYZ :flying:

I know that name well Peter

There are pics of Tony Angus recieving Tridents fom HS and I think he was in the 'ZK ceromony at Manchester.

Seems like he was BEA's 'Trident man' on more ways than one
