My maths was never very good when at school hence my career on the ground

Thought in those days the retirement age for pilots was 55 years of age.

Hi Peter.Nice shots.I've often wondered about getting the 757 myself ,but as I use the LevelD 767,which is probably on a par with the PMDG 747,I thought that there wouldn't be enough difference to warrant the expense.I am sure that you will enjoy learning the 757 and its FMC.A bit different to the Classic British Aircraft ! EricT

I had this model for fs9 but it was just that... no flight model or systems. I later got the pro pack for FSX in one of the sales that has everything and I like it very much

I retired at age 52.5 but would have had to retire at 55...They go on for longer now I think, but in those days BA was mandatory retirement at 55 for pilots. So I was only 2.5 years early but the company made me a very generous offer so I took it instead of the 757 course. It was an excellent decision because I was still young enough to enjoy my boating for the next fifteen years or so and I did many ocean crossings in my own boat and crewing for others...I also found a new Mate and we married in 1991 :flying:
