i made an AI frighnting many months ago

first FS9 run, and in only 3 hours from start to finish







still needs gear doors, and other LODS doing.

Is it me or should the canopy be on t'other side of the fuselage ala Sea Vixen?? She looks a little tubby but that may be the 'canopy effect' Still.. ideal for AI and a thousand times better than I could make in a week let alone a few hours

you are right Dave, the Canopy needs shifting. As per always, AI are representive, not perfect in every detail. they are there to make your airfield look correct.

Exactly mate. Certainly no intention to rivet count With the canopy shifted.. the illusion will be a good one and perfect for the job it was designed to fulfill

indeed, with a small adoption of a new canopy and nose, the other B varients are easily done too

Good work.. and in short order too While there are some out there who can stand turning full models into AI and appreciate the complexities in multiples of more than 1.. there are a great many more who struggle.. me being one. I think this sort of model strikes a good balance between Gary Summons old statics (which to be honest are pony but don't hit frames too badly) and the other end which look good but you dare not use with any sort of gusto.
Many of us (I'm thinking VA users here) don't visit RAF stations that often but we STILL fly over them.. and at relatively low levels on occassion. Our 780 fleet is totally devoted to RAF ONLY flights and this little tinker and models like it will make those flights (arrivals/departures especially) that much more interesting Long may it continue
