LOD stands for Level Of Detail :)

Searching for Holger Sandmann and Himalayas on Avsim just brings up FS2004 LOD10 scenery - maybe that was what the link meant?

Cheers Ian...says they work fine in FSX but Avsim keeps coming up with the "oops" file missing thing....i'll have to be patient i suppose... :thumbsup:

Ah - didn't check for that :doh:

I see the FSX scenery is available as a torrent if you have that capability - and it is freeware so that's ok.

But also the FSX version is here: http://simviation.com/fsxscenery16.htm

FS2004 around here (back/forward a few pages): http://www.simviation.com/fs2004scenery77.htm

But Simviation download speed is capped unless you are a member so could take a while!

The torrent is certainly faster for the FSX stuff.
