I am aware of this model.
It seems perfect for the era and simulator that is was designed for.
Left well behind by the quality of todays FS aircraft.
A really good reason for some genius to create a fresh up to date one.
Dear santa..

Cheers Nigel -
The VF Forum has been very slow for some things lately, but I was able to view all posts by me, and found my original post about the Basset there:

Only one of the pics is currently on the 'net, but I can dig out the others over the weekend if you are still interested after reading the whole saga

Hi Mike, thanks for that link interesting read.
If you have any more screen shots then that would be great, might spur somebody on in having a go at building one for FS9, unfortunately my artistic skills and patience at trying my hand on a project such as this would be zilch!!
Regards
Nigel.

Hi Nigel -
I felt it would be a lot simpler just to go for a brief local jaunt from Exeter.
Posting these as links, because in YAFSS I capture at 1440x900 and reduce to suit the forum.
800 wide loses too much detail. These are resized to 1024 wide, which is too big for this forum.
I notice I am now missing some textures - rear of nacelles, +tailfin & rudder but I know the cause - me

If anyone wants to try the Beagle, it is still available.
The original site of
http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/shigeru/civil.htm doesn't work anymore, but put that URL into the Wayback machine at
http://www.archive.org/index.php and some way down is the FS2002 and FS2000 Beagles. Download by clicking on the pictures (it does still work - I've just tried).
